Radiant Floor Solutions Heating Layout

Radiant Floor Solutions Heating Layout

Radiant Floor Solutions coil layouts take into account the building design with regard to external walls and glazed areas and as can be seen from the typical layout shown below the density of pipe is increased in these areas. You will also notice that the warmest water is always taken to the highest area of heat loss i.e. an external wall returning to the manifold via the inner zone. This method of design ensures that the surface emissions are designed to counteract the heat losses at the points at which they actually occur. This ensures an even space temperature even in those areas which would otherwise be the coldest.

Other methods of laying which rely on evenly spaced pipes across the whole area cannot achieve this since reduced temperatures will always occur against areas of high heat loss such as glazing and external walls.
